We enjoy fishing and fellowship. We find great pleasure in both fishing and fellowship, and as a small club, we offer a lot to our members. You don’t have to own a boat to be a part of our community. Our primary focus is on improving our abilities and skills in fly fishing and marine conservation, and we welcome and support anyone who shares these interests.

We are especially keen on introducing young people to the sport and sharing our experiences with them. Our club is most active during the fall, winter, and spring seasons when most of our members are in the area.

We have monthly meetings that involve sharing pizza and fishing information, disseminating local and regional conservation updates, holding a small raffle, and featuring a speaker.

Club members lead fishing expeditions from shore and kayaks, which are open to all members. Additionally, we hold monthly luncheons at a local restaurant where we can enjoy each other's company without the distraction of fishing.

We typically host several casting clinic each year, which are suitable for casters of all levels and is led by casting instructor Joe Mahler.

We also host monthly fly-tying nights at Sanibel Fly Outfitters. We provide instructions, materials, and equipment necessary to tie the most effective flies we use in Southwest Florida.

Moreover, we hold an annual online fundraising event called "Fishin with a Mission" to raise funds for budding marine scientists in local research institutions focused on conservation issues facing our marine resources.

Finally, we publish a newsletter called "Friday Flies" to keep our members informed about upcoming events and pertinent information.
